THE BEACHES OF ANTIPAROS
Long beaches and pretty coves dot the coast of Antiparos; generally sandy, they are all easily accessible and bathed by a crystal clear sea.
We describe the main ones below, but know that there are many others, sometimes nameless, sometimes a little hidden, which we leave to you the pleasure of discovering.
One thing is certain: they will not disappoint you!!!
AGIOS Georgios
Long sandy beach, it is located on the southern tip of the island, about 11 km from the main village, and can be reached by own means of transport.
There are some traditional taverns nearby.
APÁNDIMA
Pretty sandy cove, it is located on the west coast about 7 km from the capital along the road to Agios Georgios; it is well signposted on the main road. Part of the beach is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, while part is free. Refined and informal, the "Beach House", a restaurant serving Greek and international cuisine and a cocktail bar on the beach.
PSARALYKI
Long and sandy, it is one of the beaches around the capital from which it is about 500 meters away; it is located at the entrance to the road to Agios Georgios and can be reached quickly on foot or by means of transport.
PANAGÍA
Long sandy beach, it is located on the west coast, about 2 km from the capital, and is well signposted on the main road.
Excellent traditional tavern “To Perigiali”.
SIFNÈIKO
It is one of the sandy beaches around the capital which can be reached with a short walk of a few hundred metres.
There are the Sifneiko Cafè and the Sunset Deseo hotel with its restaurant serving Italian cuisine, fish dishes and an evocative musical aperitif at sunset.
The beach is not equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas.
SORÓS
Long sandy beach, it is located on the west coast about 9.5 km from the capital along the road to Agios Georgios; it is well signposted on the main road.
Part of the beach is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, part is free.
There is a restaurant and cocktail bar and a Greek cuisine tavern.
SPIAGGIA del CAMPING
It is one of the sandy beaches around the capital from which it is about 1 km away; it can be reached on foot or by means of transport.
The beach is not equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas.
Naturism is practiced there and with a short swim you land on the deserted islet Nisida Diplo.
